Ot4kidswithdcd will only use your child's data for the purpose for which it was collected at assessment.

Data held includes name, DOB, address, school, medical background, assessments and results, school and home questionnaires.

You have a right to be kept informed and will have signed a consent form prior to your child's assessment (if 16 and under) which includes the secure storage of data. Children 16 and over can sign their own consent form (this may be lowered to 13 in the UK at some stage).

Data will only be used as agreed and stated on the consent form.

On top of the consent form, data will only be shared with other medical professionals following a discussion with the person with parental responsibility or the young adult.

Records will be stored for 7 years after the child reaches the age of majority (18) and then destroyed.
